June Lorene (Clavette) Neubauer-Sanville

ESCANABA — June Lorene (Clavette) Neubauer-Sanville, age 82, passed away July 30, 2021. She was born April 8, 1939, in Marion, Wis. to Bernard J. Clavette, Sr. and Joyce B. (Armstrong) Clavette. Her family moved to Michigan in 1946 and she spent her young life in the Cornell area. Her family moved back to Oshkosh where she attended high school. She married Gerald Neubauer and had four children, Jerry A. Neubauer, children Clinton, William (David), and Leda; William J. Neubauer, children, Rachel (Jason) Pascoe, and Rebecca (Simon Rose) Neubauer; Kathy L. Neubauer, children, Jennifer (Jason) Brooks, and Taylor (Kolby) Houlton; Gail M. (Greg) Marcoe, children, Jessica (Andrew) Murray, Jeffrey (Tiffany) Marcoe, John Marcoe, and Julianne Marcoe. June married Ronald C. Sanville in 1968 in Escanaba, Mich. and they had a daughter, Rhonda L. (Matt Valiquette) Sanville, children, Jacob Walker, Haley (Sam) Pouliot, Sunny (Nick) Forvilly, and Joseph Walker. June worked as one of Escanaba’s first teacher assistants until her retirement. She loved her family and enjoyed time with them, above all. She also enjoyed gardening, birds, and working on genealogy.

June was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Florence, James, and Bernard (Chris). She is survived by her children, grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Private family graveside services will be held later in August at Gardens of Rest Cemetery with Rev. Terry Frankenstein officiating. The Anderson Funeral Homes are assisting the family and online remembrances can be shared at www.andersonfuneralhomes.net.
