David Karl Anderson
ROCKFORD, Mich. — David Karl Anderson, age 65, passed away August 21, 2021 from Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia (FTD). He was born February 26, 1956 in Escanaba, Mich. but resided most of his life in Rockford, Mich.
David was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Betty Anderson and his brother John.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancie; his brother Jim (Chris) Anderson; sister, Susan (Gerry) Rivard, along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
David was an electrician most of his life and an avid outdoorsman. He went to Minnesota with his buddies to Boundary Waters for fishing and canoeing. He was also an avid cyclist, skier; NASCAR fan and he was a HUGE and devoted Green Bay Packers fan. He was also known for his kindness, generosity and tremendously outgoing personality. David family would like to send out their heartfelt thanks to Interim Hospice and all of his caretakers at Vista Springs. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flower and to honor David’s true love of Pulis, memorial contributions may be directed to the Western Michigan Humane Society, 3077 Wilson Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534.
