Carrol A. Deleon

She was born in Detroit on January 5, 1940, the daughter of August and Elizabeth (Denz) Peters. Carrol was raised in Detroit and graduated from St. Kashimer High School. She spent 25 years in Southgate before moving to Melvindale for 15 years.

Carrol was employed as a sales manager for Dittrich Furs until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, who meant everything to her.

Survivors include her children, Paul (Dee) Deleon, Mark Deleon, and Kenneth (Mary Beth) Deleon; grandchildren, Giles and Matthew Deleon; great grandchildren, Alexis and Jack Deleon; and siblings, August (Linda) Peters and James Peters.

Carrol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Deleon; son, Jeff Deleon; and granddaughter, Teresa Deleon.

In keeping with Carrol’s wishes no services will be held.
