Clifton Louis Moser

RAPID RIVER — Clifton Louis Moser, 77, of Rapid River, Mich., passed away unexpectedly at his winter home in Cochise, Ariz., on March 24, 2021 after a valiant 21plus year challenge with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).

Clif was born September 1, 1943 in Rapid River to Walter and Leila ( Groleau) Moser. He continued in his father’s footsteps, Clif had a LOVE for trucks, tractors and landscaping equipment. So, he took over the family trucking business as Moser and Son Trucking which he continued to operate until his departure. Also, Clif was a proud member of IBEW Local 876 for 36 plus years, where he worked as a journeyman lineman electrician until his severe/acute episode with CHF in July 2000. Thus, forcing his early retirement from the electrical trades.

He was a strong patriarch for his family,a VERY GOOD friend to many and a man who would loan his last tool to just about anyone. He was a wonderful husband, a great fatherand loving grandfather whom always provided for and loved his family endlessly.

Clif is survived by his loving wife of 55 plus years, Gail Jean (Savola) Moser; his daughter, Roxanne (Eric) Soderstrom of Pearce, Ariz.; two grandsons, Shayne Moser Jr., and Kade Clifton Soderstrom. Also, surviving is his sister Brenda Parana, sister-in-law Carole Moser, brother-in-law, Louis Anderson, Sr. and very close nephew, Michael Sauve, and his wife Carol. Numerous niece’s and nephews

Preceding Clif in death were his parents, his son, Shayne Allen Moser, Sr., his brother, Allen Moser, a sister Darlene Sauve, his sister-in-law Lorraine Anderson and brother-in-law John Patana

At Clif’s request no funeral services were held. An arrangement for cremation was entrusted to the Westlawn Chapel and mortuary in Willcox, Ariz

An interment of his ashes and celebration of his life will be held at a later date in the summer.
