Mark Steven Lahti

On Monday, March 8, 2021, Mark Steven Lahti passed away after a battle with colon cancer at the age of 59.

Mark was born on April 15, 1961, in Hancock, Mich. to Edwin Richard Lahti and Marie Ann Saunders. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin. He enjoyed working with his hands in mechanical fabrication and woodworking, he was an artist, a dreamer, an entrepreneur, big thinker and independent spirit.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie (David) Saunders and his brother, Michael Lahti. He is survived by his father, Edwin (Sherry) Lahti; his siblings, Robert “Bob” (Tonda) Lahti, Jill (Terry) Buchholz, Heidi (Clint) Sutton; the mother of his children, Jeanne Jensen Lahti; his daughters, Lillian (Troy) Shackelford, Natalie (Chris) Wahmhoff, Susan (Jared) Lahti-Cramer; and his grandchildren, Nethanial, Willow, Ren, Andrew, Mason and Nora.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Hermansville Sportsman’s Club (W5616 First Street Hermansville, Ml) from 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. CST. Potluck to Follow Tribute.
