Daryl F. Hansen
WILLOW CREEK, CA – Daryl F. Hansen, age 65, of Willow Creek, Calif., passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital, Eureka, Calif., with his brother Dan at his side. Daryl was born June 12, 1955 to George and Louise Hansen. He was a graduate of Escanaba Area High School and served time in the U.S. Navy off the coast of Vietnam. He was a painter and musician with a local group in the early ’80s. Daryl later moved to California to live near Ukiah, Calif.
Daryl was precceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eloise (Hansen) Stockheim of Wausau, Wis.; Martha (Hansen) Deacon of (Danforth) Escanaba.
Daryl is survived by his two brothers, George Hansen and Danny (Juith) Hansen of Escanaba, along with four nephews, George Hansen of Escanaba, Michael Hansen of Schaffer, Jimmy Deacon of Texas and Jack Deacon of Nashville,Tenn.; three nieces, Jennifer Deacon, Danielle Hansen of Escanaba and Carrie (Hansen) Bouting of Dayton, Ohio.
Daryl’s ashes will be interned at Gardens of Rest Cemetary at a later date, to be determined.
