Marcia A. Lehto

She was born on Nov. 6, 1961 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., daughter of Gerald J. McPherson and Patsy A. (Roy) Parrett. Marcia was raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Cheboygan, and Rapid River. For the past 35 years she lived in Escanaba and graduated from the alternative high school.

Marcia had worked as a truck driver for a time and loved the adventure of being on the road.

She enjoyed beading, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Marcia had a passion for outdoor activities that included mushroom hunting, burrow hunting, and fishing.

Marcia was a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Survivors include her stepfather, Charles Parrett; grandchildren, Patsy and Gerald Parrett, Sara and Shannon Larson; siblings, Marla (Thomas) Emery, James (Sandra) McPherson, Jennifer (Chuck) Raspor, Michael (Sherri) Parrett, Kristen Brace, several nieces and nephews and special friend Bruce Eggleston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Gerald Bond, husband David Lehto and sister Geri (Gary) Kaiser.
