Billie Ann Woodard

Billie was born Oct. 23, 1954 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of William and Joan (O’Connor) Woodard.

She graduated from the Escanaba Senior High School in 1972. She continued her education at Ferris State ­University and received a bachelor’s degree in engineering. She worked in the ­engineering field for many years.

In recent years she was a Foster Grandparent at the Rapid River School. Billie was very artistic and enjoyed painting, woodworking and jewelry making. She especially enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family. She also enjoyed camping and bonfires.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Jamie Romero; mother, Joan Woodard; siblings, Brenda (Jon) Servant, Kristine (Bruce) Brandt and Jeffery Woodard and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Rory Woodard.

Private services for Billie will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home.
