Eric Sigfrids

Eric was born Oct. 27, 1968, in Elmhurst, Illi., the son of James and Barbara (Widner) Sigfrids. Eric grew up in Stonington, and as a family they moved to Gladstone, where he started school at the ISD Learning Center. Eric lived on his own for quite a few years and was always out in the community. He loved socializing, swimming, and bowling with his friends and listening to music. His favorite music was from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Eric had a lot of amazing friends and a caring family, and he will be deeply missed by so many.

Eric is survived by his parents, James and Barbara, two uncles, three aunts, niece Abbie, and nephews Nick and Ben. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Loyal and Helen Sigfrids, grandmother Lillian Tidwell, brother Samuel Sigfrids, and sister Jennifer Sigfrids.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the wonderful caregivers that took such great care of Eric over the years.
