James Brian Ault

James was born on Feb. 9, 1958 in Escanaba, Michigan to Paul George Ault Sr. and Marjory Sarah (Robinson) Ault. James graduated from Bark River-Harris in 1976. He joined the Army serving his country for four years. James lived in Chicago for a time before returning to the U.P. where he worked for Hanley Trucking delivering mail for many years.

James is survived by his four children, Amber DeGrave, Michael and Terri (Gilbert) Ault, Derick Degraves, and Courtney Degraves all of Escanaba; nine grandchildren, Kendra, Ashton, Devyn, Ryleigh, Aubriee, Cameron, Blake, Madelyn and Lillian; siblings, Richard Ault of Bark River, Linda Ault of Escanaba, Sandra Ault of Plano, Texas, and Bonnie O’Donnell of Chesterland, Ohio; along with many nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul George Ault Jr., Wallace Richard Ault; and sisters Margie Lusardi and Gail Mouzone.

James enjoyed hunting, time spent at deer camp, watching his son race and just hanging out with his family. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren enjoying as much time as possible with them knowing tomorrow is never promised treasuring each day as it came.

Due to the current health concern a memorial service will be held at a later date.
