Margie Lynn Heikkila

She was born in Iron River, Mich.., on Dec. 11, 1951, the daughter of Eric and Virginia (Nygard) Heikkila.

Margie attended grade school in Iron River before moving to Forest Park, Ill., where she graduated from Proviso East High School.

In 1983, Margie married Steven Zrust in Minneapolis. He preceded her in death.

Margie was certified in Graphoanalysis. She loved coloring in adult coloring books and playing games on her I-phone. She busied herself with helping others. She enjoyed giving and doing anything to help her family, friends and neighbors. She was often seen delivering meals in her wheelchair to friends at West Highland.

She is survived by siblings, Wayne (Jody) of Escanaba, James (Judy) of Cary, N.C., and Dennis (Renee) of Leesburg, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ed.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2401 N. Lincoln Road, Escanaba, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Al Schubert officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
