Lucille Ruth (Naser) Nolan

GLADSTONE — Lucille Ruth (Naser) Nolan, 93, of 7477 S Lake Bluff 0.5 Drive, Gladstone, passed away Thursday morning, Aug. 29, 2019, at her home. She was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Kewaunee, Wis., the daughter of John B. and Clara (Lichtenberg) Naser. Lucille grew up in Escanaba and later moved with her family during her high school years to Wilson, Mich., and was a graduate of Bark River High School. Lucille then attended Legal Secretarial College in Wisconsin and was employed at a law office in Hudson, Wis. The former Lucille Naser married Thomas H. Nolan on Jan. 30, 1960, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 2010. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Escanaba, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting. Lucille will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, and kindness. She will be sorely missed; however, her spirit and grace will eternally enrich her family and all who knew her.

Lucille Ruth (Naser) Nolan is survived by her sister, Gretchen Turri of Minnesota; niece, Pam (Ken) Kirschner of Perronville, Mich; and nephews, Jeff (Rosalie) Naser of Powers, and Steve (Cindi) Naser of Negaunee, Mich.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by one brother, David Naser.

Visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the Anderson Funeral Home.

Burial took place in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
