Dave Majestic

JENISON, Mich. — Dave Majestic, 51, went to his heavenly home on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Melvin Kyto.

He is survived by his wife, Heather; children Nick Majestic and Abby Majestic; parents George and Sally Majestic; sister, Lisa (Steve) Anderson; nieces, Brianne and Haley Anderson; and nephew, Josh Anderson. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.

On any given fall or winter weekend you could find Dave cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers or the Notre Dame Fighting Irish; that is unless he was cheering on his son or daughter at their various sporting events as their BIGGEST fan. Summertime would find Dave golfing at the annual “Six-Pack Challenge” up north, or RV camping with Heather, Nick and Abby.

He started his professional career as a certified public accountant at a small local accounting firm and then moved to Deloitte for several years. He then transitioned to the medical field, where he held several finance positions. He was a member of the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) and Spectrum Health management teams for 17 years, serving as Vice President of Operations for HDVCH for the past five years. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Council 7487 and Bishop Kevin M. Britt Assembly 3102, and he served as a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids. He was well loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed.

The Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Sept. 5, at Holy Redeemer Parish, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, Mich.

In honor of Dave, contributions may be made to Jenison Athletic Boosters or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids (https://bgcgrandrapids.org).
