Lawrence M. Beauchamp

GLADSTONE, Mich. — Lawrence M. Beauchamp, 44, of Gladstone, passed away Aug. 16, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Larry was born Nov. 10, 1974, in Escanaba, Mich., the son of Duane and Rosemary (Holmes) Beauchamp Sr. He attended and graduated from Gladstone High School where he achieved many sporting honors excelling in football, track, baseball, and wrestling. He briefly moved by his brother Paul and sister-in-law Nicole to start his career as a lineman. He came back to Gladstone and Escanaba area in 2001 when he met his future wife Heidi (Hanson). They married Aug. 30, 2003, and had three beautiful children.

Larry enjoyed deer camp hunting, four-wheeling, camping, and just being outdoors. He also loved his couch and watching movies with his family. He never missed a Marvel or DC comic movie.

Larry was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it, whether it was family, friend, neighbor or stranger.

In addition to his loving wife, Heidi, Larry is survived by: father, Duane (Glenda) Beauchamp; mother, Rosemary Beauchamp; two sons, David Gray of Escanaba, Mich., and Devin Gray of Gladstone, Mich.; one daughter, Lily Beauchamp of Gladstone, Mich.; three brothers, Paul (Nicole) Beauchamp of Grand Ledge, Mich., Duane (Jessica) Beauchamp of Escanaba, Mich., and Harly Beauchamp of Escanaba, Mich.; two sisters, Roseann (Wayne) Mathias of Bark River, Mich., and Veronica (Jack) Cronick of Escanaba, Mich.; step siblings, Chris (Terri) Reimer, Ernest Reimer, Jane (Jeremy) Britton, and Melissa Reimer; special relatives, Grandma Joyce Jacques and Donna (Bruce) Deno; brothers-in-laws, Craig (Jennifer) Hanson of Oregon, Wis., Jake (Dana) Maki of Marquette, Mich.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry is preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Anna Holmes and Mason Holmes; uncle, Larry, Bill Holmes; paternal grandparents, Agnes and William Beauchamp; uncle, Norman (Anne) Beauchamp, Ronald Beauchamp, and Bob (Lorraine) Beauchamp Sr.; and nephew, Paul Beauchamp Jr.; mother-in-law, Victoria (Patrick) Lippens; grandfather-In-law, Fred Jacques.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Pinecrest Medical Facility, St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, and OSF Emergency Department for all their wonderful care and expertise with Larry.

Family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 23, from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Prayers of transfer will conclude visiting hours at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock with Rev. Fr. Francis Dobrzenski officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church basement.
