Catherine Ione Alexander

Catherine was born May 16, 1934, in Epoufette, Mich., to the late Vera and Henry Robinson. She was united in marriage to Donald Alexander and together raised three children in Newberry, Mich. She retired from the Newberry State Hospital and moved back to Brampton to care for her elderly parents.

Catherine enjoyed playing darts and bowling. She loved crafting and spending time with family, especially going shopping with her sisters.

Catherine is survived by her son, Glen (Chris) Alexander Sr.; seven grandchildren, Gail (Anthony) Sykes, Tricia Burton, Joshua (Judith) Maudrie, Scott (Heather) Tucker, Glen (Melissa) Alexander Jr., Chase (Mary) Alexander and Nicole Maudrie; 19 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Almeda Bricker, Wanda Wills, Linda Drossart, Brenda (Dennis) Chenier; three brothers, Fred (Mary Beth), Daniel (Linda) and Everette Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews and special family, Bob and Jeni Olsze.

She was preceded in death by Donald Alexander, Walter Eagle, daughters, Lila McPhee and Patricia Tucker, sister, Dorothy Drossart and brothers, Stafford, Clay, Raymond and Edsil Robinson

To honor her wishes there will be a family gathering at a later date.

Catherine will be greatly missed by all.
