Irene S. Bader

Irene was born on Jan. 20, 1931, in Spalding, the daughter of Constance (Wraskowsca) and Antone Sheski. She was raised in Spalding and graduated from Powers High School.

On Jan. 5, 1952, Irene married Raymond Bader at St. Francis Xavier Church. He preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 2012. After her marriage she moved to Wells where she resided for 60 years until moving to Fairview Manor in Gladstone for the last five years.

Irene loved to cook, crochet, crafting and traveling to Arizona where she spent the winters. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Susan) Bader of Gladstone and Tammy (Chris) Meyer of Chandler Ariz.; grandchildren, Breanna, Shanna, Eian, Mason, Lauren and Marilyn; great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Lillabeth and many nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, Paul; five brothers and four sisters.

Services will be held in Arizona at a later date.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Bader family.
