Joyce M. Frisque

HERMANSVILLE, Mich. – Joyce M. Frisque, 58, of Hermansville, passed away on Saturday evening, June 4, 2016, at UP Health System in Marquette as a result of complications from heart surgery. She was born on Jan. 7, 1958, in Menominee, the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Beaudoin) Frisque. She graduated from Carney-Nadeau Public Schools and spent the next 25 years working as a nurse’s aide. She was a loving caregiver for each of her parents until their respective deaths in 2002 and 2012. She was currently employed at Powers Printing in Powers, Mich. Joyce loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed watching her shows on TV, especially the NCIS series. She was an avid collector of stuffed animals and ceramic bears.

She is survived by her siblings, Betty (Greg) Trudell, Escanaba; Frances Doberstein (Bill Bilski), Vulcan; Rich Frisque, Bagley; Barb (Dave) Patz, Pound, Wis., and Kelly (John) Chapoton, Warren, Mich.; her beloved nieces and nephews, Willy and Peter Doberstein, Iron Mountain; Kassaundra (Aaron) Kanagy and their daughter Baileigh Brunswick, Ga.; Brooke Frisque (Brad Kleikamp) and her son Brady, Powers; Ray (Tabatha) Yoder and their children Gideon, Gage and Rayne, Pound, Wis.; Jennifer (Jason) Harvey and their children Emma and Nicholas, Coleman, Wis.; Melissa (Dakota) Lueskow and their children Dominic, Maylana, and Mariah, Peshtigo, Wis., and Jefferson and Conrad Chapoton, Warren, Mich. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Norman, and sisters, Brenda and Mary Ellen.

Friends may call on Sunday, June 12, after 2 p.m. CST at the Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. with Father Ronald Timock officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the Precious Blood Church in Stephenson.
