Carol Ann Wille
ESCANABA – Carol Ann Wille, 79, of 2900 3rd Ave. S., Escanaba, passed away on Monday, Dec. 07, 2015, at U.P. Health System in Marquette. She was born on Dec. 24, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wis., and was the daughter of Walter and Edythe (Gavanda) Stevens.
Carol attended school in Milwaukee, Wis., and was a graduate of Rufus King High School. Following high school, she continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
In 1967, Carol moved to Escanaba and throughout the years was employed by; Byron Zeni DDS, Perry Uhazie DDS, and for over 20 years worked at the House of Ludington. Carol’s family was her greatest joy. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. In her spare-time, she enjoyed sewing, singing, and was a tremendous cook. Carol was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba and cherished the people she met and friendships made in the community she loved.
She is survived by: sons, Steve (Kathy) Wille, of Cary, Ill., and Scott (Carrie) Wille, of Pewaukee, Wis.: grandchildren, Jacklyn, Kelly, Kevin, Annika, Ava and Elena; sister, Sandy (Mike) Noll, of Wauwatosa, Wis.: nieces and nephews, Susan (Geoff) Hardtke-Laughlin and Heather (Mark) Noennig.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edythe.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba from 3 to 4 p.m. (EST). Funeral services celebrating the life of Carol Ann Wille will follow at 4 p.m. (EST) in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Emmett Norden officiating. Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
