Scott ‘Bug’ Michael Messersmith
WILSON – Scott “Bug” Michael Messersmith, 43, 13959 Cty Rd 551, Wilson, passed away on late Sunday evening, Aug. 11, 2013, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.
He was born on Nov. 6, 1969, in Escanaba, son of Earl and Lorna (Gagnon) Messersmith.
He graduated from Carney Nadeau High School in 1988 and lived all of his life in Gourley Township.
Scott loved four-wheeling, taking care of his nieces and nephew, and was always willing to help his friends and neighbors.
He is survived by two brothers, Jeff (Brandy) Messersmith of Daggett and Brian Messersmith of Wilson; two nieces and a nephew; aunts and uncles; and special friends, Stephanie and Brad Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. (EST) at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Bark River.
Friends and family will have an opportunity to share memories at 7 p.m.
