and Kim Clarich participate in the "Bells for Hospice" event in Escanaba on Monday. Held on the lawn of Seventh-Day Adventist Church, the ceremony brought local students, volunteers and staff from OSF Home Care & Hospice and North Woods Home Care & Hospice to ring bells in memory of those in the community who have passed this year while in hospice care. The practice is an annual occurrence to not only honor lives lost but also to spotlight patients, families and caregivers. November is National Hospice Month. (R. R. Branstrom | Daily Press)
