Nine-year-old Perse of Escanaba uses an isulated pole to disconnect a circuit after a demonstation from City of Escanaba Apprentice Lineman Travis Frazier. The electrical employees explained to visitors that in real situations, the fuses are much higher up, necessitating use of a longer pole, which creates quite a challenge in inclement weather. (R. R.
