Gladstone was bustling on Saturday as dozens of vendors, food trucks, dancers from a local studio and shoppers participated in Downtown Day on Saturday. The State of Michigan and the Michigan Downtown Association encouraged communities around the state to celebrate their downtowns on Sept. 26 to acknowledge the importance of local commerce and the efforts of Downtown Development Authorities.
