Gladstone DDA to host third annual Downtown Day

GLADSTONE -- Downtown Gladstone is gearing up for an afternoon of music, food, shopping and family fun as the community is set to gather for the third annual annual Downtown Day this Saturday.
Hosted by the Gladstone Downtown Development Authority (DDA), the event will run from noon to 4 p.m. and feature more than 70 vendors, food trucks, live music, sidewalk sales, family activities and a special Saturday Gladstone Farmers Market. Downtown businesses will also have their doors open to welcome in the public.
The Make Believe Spurs will be playing outside of Saunders Point Brewing, and Wingin It Lite will be at the farmers market square. A performance by Dance It Up -- Gladstone’s local competitive dance studio -- will commence at 3:30 p.m.
“Over the last two years, there has been some exciting growth and momentum in Downtown Gladstone from new businesses -- a growing music scene, a successful farmers market and a great sense of community,” said Gladstone Downtown Ambassador Samantha Gaudino. “This annual event draws people into Downtown Gladstone to see what all of the fuss is about.”
This year’s event has reportedly grown double in scale since the event in 2025.
“Maybe you haven't had a chance to visit one of our new businesses, like Mancave Dave, or maybe you have a favorite shop or restaurant that you haven't been to in a long time,” Gaudino added. “This event is the perfect time to do that while also having a day out with friends and family.”
Delta Avenue in Gladstone will experience a street closure for this event. All vehicles must be removed from Delta Avenue along 9th and 10th Streets by 9 a.m. the day of the event.
