Michigan Technological University named title sponsor of the 2027 Escanaba District FIRST Robotics Competition

The Escanaba District FIRST Robotics Competition is proud to announce that Michigan Technological University has committed to serving as the Presenting Sponsor of the Escanaba District FIRST Robotics Competition being held March 25-27, 2027 at the Escanaba High School.

The Escanaba District FIRST Robotics Competition is a three-day free to attend FIRST in Michigan event bringing together high school robotics teams from across the region. Students compete using robots they have designed, built, programmed, and tested while demonstrating the core values of teamwork, innovation, gracious professionalism, and problem solving. The event provides students, families, educators, mentors, industry professionals, and community members with an opportunity to experience the excitement of STEM and FIRST Robotics firsthand.
