Still exhibit winners spotlighted at 2026 Upper Peninsula State Fair

Natalie Randall, of Escanaba, submitted a large zucchini that won first place in the agriculture department; unusual vegetable species division; largest zucchini class at the 2026 Upper Peninsula State Fair. According to Randall, one or two zucchinis are typically missed or overlooked during harvest, allowing them to keep growing far beyond what could ever be used in the kitchen. This particular zucchini is in the "Black Beauty" variety and weighs just over 17 pounds.
