Multiple overnight overdoses, death related to local cocaine purchases

MENOMINEE -- Sheriff Darrin Kuda reports that cocaine use has resulted in at least four overdoses and one death in Marinette and Menominee Counties since last night.

While individuals have been detained in reference to this investigation, Sheriff Kuda cautions that more od the tainted drug may have been distributed locally.

A joint investigation comprised of multipole Michigan- and Wisconsin-based agencies is ongoing.
