ESCANABA — Firefighters from the Escanaba Department of Public Safety are working to put out a semi-trailer fire on Lincoln Road. The semi-trailer, branded Alter Metal Recycling, is located in the parking lot between Advanced Auto Parts and Auto Zone.

The Delta County Sheriff is on scene. As of 2:40 p.m., traffic is not restricted on the roadways, but it would be wise to avoid the area.
