In the late afternoon on Sunday, June 28, law inforcement responeded to a reported threat at Island Casino in Harris.

​The incident triggered an immediate lockdown, with security halting all traffic in and out of the facility. Law enforcement agencies from Delta and Menominee counties appeared on the scene, securing the area and searching vehicles.

​Authorities issued an all-clear at about 8:30 p.m. Investigation into the origin of the threat is ongoing.

In an officail statemtent the casino stated, “the safety of our guests and employees remains our top priority. Law enforcement has cleared the recent threat and confirmed there is no ongoing danger.”

The casino further thanked law wnforcement for the quick response, and their employees and guests for their patience. The casino has returned to normal operations.
