Graduation, scholarships mark milestones for EHS Class of 2026

ESCANABA — The Escanaba High School Class of 2026 recently celebrated commencement, with 129 graduates crossing the stage and beginning the next chapter of their lives.
Among the graduating class, 36 students were recognized as members of the National Honor Society. The commencement ceremony took place May 22.
The class’ top 10 students were Landry Bray, Abraham Cambell, Maksim Chernick, Hailee Cloutier, Aubrey Elliott, Jason Guerne, Cheyanne Hartel, Susan Moberg, Payton Romps and Kaitlyn Smith.
The Senior Class Council for the Class of 2026 included President Addison Noblet; Vice President Brooklyn Hackleman; School Board Liaisons Isabel Kobasic and Irene Neumeier; Representatives Hailee Cloutier, Harlee Coolman and Ella Johnson; and Members-at-Large Hunter Allen and Emma Zimmer.
In addition to commencement festivities, Escanaba High School recognized student achievement during its annual Honors Night program on May 20. 205 scholarships were awarded to 88 graduating seniors. The value of the scholarships presented that evening totaled $713,410.
