GLADSTONE — As cold weather fades, preparation is officially underway for the upcoming farmers market season in Gladstone.

The Gladstone Farmers Market opens Monday, June 1 and will run every Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. through September 21, with vendor-set up taking place at 1:30 p.m. Early sales are not allowed.

This year’s market has reached full vendor capacity, as vendor booth spaces sold out in just under 12 hours in March.

The City of Gladstone’s downtown ambassador, Samantha Gaudino, said nearly every vendor from last year’s season has returned, as well as some new faces.

“Many of our vendors had high success in 2025, the energy was great and our incredible community continued to show up for them from the start of the season until the end,” said Gaudino. “I think that is ultimately what draws vendors to being a part of the Gladstone Farmers Market. I like to say we really are a family.”

Gaudino added the market will feature a diverse selection of vendors and goods, including fresh, locally grown produce, sourdough and other artisan baked goods, artisan crafts and home and garden decor.

Additionally, health and wellness products, handmade clothing and more will be available for sale.

“It is really a one stop shopping experience,” Gaudino said. “I am really proud of our vendors and our community for creating a place of authenticity where you get to meet the person behind the product, support their small business and walk away with quality products that you can’t get anywhere else.”

Vendors who are still interested in being a part of the market can contact Gaudino to discuss potential opportunities and last-minute openings. Gaudino can be reached via the City of Gladstone’s website, https://www.gladstonemi.gov/dda/directory-listing/samantha-gaudino.
