Urgent need
Donations for all blood types sought
MARQUETTE — The U.P. Regional Blood Center in Marquette is experiencing a critical need for blood donations of all types across the Upper Peninsula.
The UPRBC has a local collection site in Escanaba, 710 S. Lincoln Rd, Suite 200, as well as in Marquette and Hancock. The center is the primary supplier of blood products to Upper Peninsula hospitals. The center also partners with community organizations to host drives across the region.
This local blood supply enables healthcare providers to treat patients with a wide range of conditions. All blood donations stay in the Upper Peninsula. A single donation could save up to three lives and typically takes only about an hour to complete.
Help make a difference in our community with a blood donation. To schedule an appointment or find a blood drive near you, call 906-449-1450 or visit their website for more information.
