Delta County Courthouse
ESCANABA – The following individuals were sentenced in the Delta County Courthouse on unrelated charges.
Delta County Circuit Court:
– Scott Allen Demeuse, Escanaba, pleaded no contest to one count of larceny by conversion, $1,000 or more but less than $20,000; both parties agreed to time served if restitution paid in full at time of sentencing; fines, fees and costs of $10,258.
– Tristan Russell Halfaday, Wilson, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, one count of carrying concealed weapon and one count of possession with intent to deliver less than 50 grams of a mixture containing cocaine; all counts to be served concurrently; 11 months in jail, credit for 158 days served; fines, fees and costs of $1,069; 36 months probation.
– Joshua Adam Doherty, Bark River, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted malicious destruction of fire or police property; 118 days in jail, credit for 118 days served; fines, fees and costs of $1,093; 12 months probation.
– Ricky Allen Seymour, Sturgeon Bay, Wis., pleaded guilty to two counts of police officer – assaulting, resisting and obstructing; 124 days in jail, credit for 124 days served; fines, fees and costs of $1,966.
Delta County District Court:
Tony Gilbert Jacob, Rice Lake, Wis., pleaded guilty to one count of operating with a high blood alcohol content; 10 days in jail, credit for 2 served; fines, fees and costs of $1,575.
Somer Bernice Fryczynski, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of cyberbullying; 10 days in jail – to serve 5 days, 5 days jail suspended; 25 hours community service in lieu of 5 days jail; fines, fees and costs of $1,435; 12 months probation.
James Daniel Sowell, Mansfield, La., pleaded guilty to one count of operating while intoxicated; 1 day in jail, credit for 1 day served; fines, fees and costs of $1,500; 4 months probation.
Julianna Diane-Marie Rumfelt (Curran Suor) pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement – agent or trustee less than $200 – attempted; 15 days in jail suspended; 30 hours community service – if completed will write off $500 but not mandatory community service; fines, fees and costs of $1,243.55; 6 months probation.
Daniel Bernard Burch, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of wildlife conservation part – general violations; fines, fees and costs of $2,175.
Katie Elizabeth Gribble, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of operating – license suspended, revoked, denied; 10 days in jail, credit for 2 days served, 8 days jail suspended; must pay fines, fees and costs of $425 by Mar. 31 or will serve.
Aaron H. Gorden, Chicago, Ill., pleaded guilty to one count of operating while impaired; fines, fees and costs of $1,180.
