A large retailer has signed a lease for a space in the front of the Delta Plaza Mall between Five Below and Shoe Sensation, DP Management confirmed.

“There is a lot of demo to be done. Most of the exterior demo is complete, but the interior demo has just begun,” wrote Katherine Hedges, property manager of the Delta Plaza Mall for DP.

While the businesses are not ready to announce the name of the incoming retailer, “coming soon” signs are expected to go up in about a month’s time.

The mall at 301 N. Lincoln Road in Escanaba was first constructed by Gamble Development Co. and opened in 1970.
