ESCANABA – These individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County District Court on unrelated charges:

– Nicholas Charles Vaughn, Rapid River, pleaded guilty to one count of retail fraud – 3rd degree; 9 days in jail, credit for 9 days served; fines, fees and costs of $1,274.40; 6 months probation.

– Kyle Cody Cornelison, Ypsilanti, pleaded guilty to one count of operating while intoxicated and one count of police officer – assaulting, resisting, and obstructing – delay of sentence; 2 days in jail, credit for 2 days served; fines, fees and costs of $1,305; 6 months probation.

– Joshua Michael Duncan, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of assault or assault and battery; fines, fees and costs of $1,710; 12 months probation; 40 hours community service.

– Paul Jason Deneau, Green Bay, Wis., pleaded guilty to one count of breaking and entering – illegal entry (without owner’s permission) and one count of larceny – less than $200; 45 days in jail, credit for 45 days served; fines, fees and costs of $175; 1 week probation to ensure he leaves the state.

– Jeremy Kenneth Zaiki, Escanaba, pleaded no contest to one count of retail fraud – 2nd degree; 76 days in jail, credit for 76 days served; fines, fees and costs $125; 6 months probation.

– Jeremy Kenneth Zaiki, Escanaba, pleaded no contest to one count of retail fraud – 3rd degree; 8 days in jail, credit for 8 days served; fines, fees, and costs of $680.70; 6 months probation.
