ESCANABA — Players de Noc will open its 2025-26 season with the comedy “Don’t Mention My Name,” to be performed Friday through Sunday at Bay de Noc Community College’s Besse Center Theater, 2001 N. Lincoln Road in Escanaba.
The Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
“Don’t Mention My Name” centers on a man who finds himself at a bed and breakfast with no memory of who he is or why he is there.
Each person the man meets — including the housekeeper, a real estate agent, a nightclub singer and her boyfriend, a business executive and his secretary and the business executive’s wife — all call him by different names.
The audience will watch as he tries to figure out who he is, where the mysterious suitcase full of money came from and what the money is for.

“It’s a feel-good way to start our season, full of twists, turns and gags!” states the Players de Noc website.
“Don’t Mention My Name” will also be performed Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 4, with all shows beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Players de Noc is performing in the Besse Center Theater for the 2025-26 season due to the May 15 fire at the Bonifas Center in Escanaba, where they previously rented space.
