July 10

3:36 pm a Deputy was dispatched to a possible domestic in progress on Vega Rd in Meyer Township. An investigation was conducted and it was found to be a verbal argument. The parties were separated and the incident was closed.

6:07 pm a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Main St in Spalding Township. The driver, a 44-year-old Wilson man was arrested for no operator’s license. He was issued an appearance citation and was released to appear.

July 11

3:18 am Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Samuel St in the City of Stephenson for a domestic in progress. Upon arrival the suspect, a 26-year-old Menominee woman, left the scene before Deputies arrived. An investigation was conducted and sent to the Prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.

9:56 am a Deputy was dispatched to Frenchtown Rd in Meyer Township for a larceny complaint. The caller stated she had some items stolen from a property that she owns. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.

1:42 pm a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on US 41 in Menominee Township for improper registration plates. The driver, a 24-year-old Marinette man was arrested for driving while license suspended as well as no proof of insurance. The man was given an appearance citation and was released.

6:20 pm a Deputy was dispatched to a dog bite on River Dr in Mellen Township. The neighbor’s dog had gone next door and bit a child while they were playing outside. The dog did not break the skin. An investigation was conducted.

July 12

12:21 am a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on CR 348 in Mellen Township for speed and following too close. The driver, a 19-year-old Stephenson man was arrested for transporting open intoxicants and cited for following too closely. He was released with an appearance citation.

watched to an assault that had occurred earlier on M-35 in Cedarville Township. Upon arriving the suspect had already left. An investigation was conducted and once complete neither party wanted to pursue charges. The incident was closed.

11:27 am a Deputy along with rescue were dispatched to a one vehicle traffic crash on US 41 in Spalding Township. A vehicle driven by Joel Dejardin (42) of Sturgeon Bay, WI was traveling south on US 41 when he struck a deer causing the deer to come up onto the windshield. Three of the four occupants were injured from the debris that came into the car from the damage. They were transported to the hospital for their non-life-threatening injuries.

July 13

01:47 am a Deputy along with fire and rescue were dispatched to a one vehicle traffic crash on G-12 in the City of Stephenson. The driver had left the scene before Deputies arrived. Contact was made with the 22-year-old Menominee driver a few days later and he was arrested for failure to report an accident as well as no security on a motor vehicle. He was released and advised the court would notify.

5:04 am Deputies were dispatched to an address on US 41 in Stephenson Township for a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and the parties were separated. The incident was sent to the Prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.

8:44 am a Deputy was dispatched to River Rd in Stephenson Township for a report of a dog at large. The dog was no longer at large but the owner was contacted and warned to keep the dog on his property.

/14/2025

7:13 am a Deputy was dispatched to a crash detection notification on West 38th Ave in Menominee Township. Upon responded to the area no crash was located but a phone was located that appeared to have fallen off of a vehicle while in motion. The owner was contacted and he advised that he forgot to grab it after changing a tire on his vehicle. The phone was retuned and the incident was closed.

7:30 am a Deputy was dispatched to a residence on M-35 in Ingallston Township for a civil standby. While the Deputy was there the property owner, a 79-year-old Menominee man, was refusing to cooperate with the court ordered removal and after numerous warnings was arrested for resisting and obstructing a court order. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.

11:39 am a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on US 41 in Daggett Township for improper registration plates. Contact was made with the driver, a 24-year-old Daggett man and he was arrested for no operator’s license. He was given an appearance citation and was released.

July 15

08:14 am a Deputy was dispatched to Oakwood Rd Nadeau Township for a report of a domestic assault. An investigation was conducted and the subjects were separated. The report was sent to the Prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.

6:01 pm a Deputy was dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch on Old US 2 & 41 in Harris Township. Contact with the driver was made and he was found to be intoxicated. The 64-year-old Arlington, TX man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged after being cleared at the hospital.

July 16

08:22 am a Deputy was advised to contact a subject on US 41 in Mellen Township for a larceny complaint. The caller stated that his son stole his laundry a few days ago and is refusing to give it back. The complainant later contacted the Deputy and advised that the laundry was returned. The incident was closed.

8:44 am a Deputy was advised to contact a subject on Burnt Knoll Rd in Spalding Township for a larceny complaint. The caller stated he overpaid a bill by one cent and they were refusing to give him a refund via check. The caller was advised that if he wanted his change, they were willing to provide it but would not send it via check. The incident was closed.

11:05 am a Deputy was advised to contact a subject in reference to a larceny complaint on Z-1 Rd in Lake Township. The caller stated a family member took an item from her property without permission and she just wanted it returned. The family member agreed to return the property and the incident was closed.

10:00 pm Deputies made contact with a subject at a business in the City of Stephenson in reference to a probation violation. Contact was made with the suspect, a 28-year-old Stephenson man and he was arrested for a probation violation. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.
