MENOMINEE — The 2025 Menominee County Fair will take place July 17-20 at Shakey Lakes County Park, featuring four full days of entertainment, agriculture, competitions, and community celebration.

Opening day kicks off Thursday, July 17 with the registration of livestock, poultry showmanship, and the start of exhibits. Fairgoers can enjoy free, family-friendly attractions all weekend long, including the Mobil Escape Room, Back 40 Axe Throwing, Phoenix Mobil Arcade, Jumpin’ Good Time Bounce Houses, and the Tickler Farm & Forest Products Petting Zoo.

Live music performances begin with The Grand Design Band in the afternoon and Sonic Circus in the evening. The day also features the Queen, Princess, Junior Miss, and Tiny Miss Pageant.

Friday, July 18 is designated Veteran’s Day, beginning with a flag-raising and dove release ceremony. Activities include rabbit and miniature horse shows, the Kid’s Power Wheels Demo Derby, and Horse/Pony Pulls. Live entertainment features Logan Spicer and Todd Wangerin Project, plus a Craft Beer & Wine Tasting, bean bag and horseshoe tournaments, and a Glow Paddle Event on Resort Lake. Evening music will be provided by Neon Detour.

Saturday, July 19 is Ladies Day, starting with a 5K Walk/Run and a Kids Fishing Tournament. The day includes tractor pulls, the Ladies Day Program, bingo, and a special Logger Mac & Ponsse Pull for a Cause and Tractor/Truck Pulls. Music continues with performances by Todd Wangerin Project and Oz the Band.

The fair wraps up with Family Day on Sunday, July 20, including the 4th Annual “Have Fun with Your Dog Show”, a Coin Scramble, ATV/UTV Pull, the Tractor Skill Driving Contest, and the always-popular Foam Zone Party. Demonstrations by Ed the Diver, Mellen Township Fire Department, and Cowboy Church Music are among the family-friendly offerings. A live DJ event, sponsored by Custom Truck & Equipment, will close out the fair.

Admission is $5 per day or $10 for a weekend wristband. Children age 5 and under are free.
