ESCANABA — Delta County announces the release of the request for proposal (RFP) for Opioid settlement funds received by the county. The primary objective of this RFP is to solicit proposals from eligible entities that demonstrate innovative evidence-based approaches to combatting the opioid epidemic within Delta County. Organizations must be registered non-profit organizations, local government entities, or community-based organizations operating within Delta County.

Grant awards will vary based on the scope and impact of the proposed projects and their alignment with Delta County priorities outlined in Appendix A of the RFP. Activities must meet the definition of opioid remediation, be evidence-based strategies or promising practices, and align with allowable uses outlined by the Michigan Department of Attorney General.

Grant awards will be up to $30,000 each. The grant period is from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026. RFP must be submitted to clerk@deltacountymi.gov by August 1, 2025.
