MARQUETTE — Health officials are warning that a second measles case has been confirmed in the U.P. The second infected person visited Delta County, as well as locations in Marquette County, according to the Marquette County Health Department.

The measles virus can remain infectious in the air for up to two hours after a infected person leaves the area.

The pubic is being alerted that the infected person was in Delta County Thursday, May 27, and visited First Bank, 1921 3rd Ave, N., Escanaba from 12 to 5 p.m.
