Demolition began Wednesday of the building at 501 N. Lincoln Rd. in Escanaba, which housed Super One from 1989 to 2017. Construction of a Kwik Trip is planned for the summer, with the new gas station and convenience store from the La Crosse, Wis.-based chain expected to open by the end of the year.
