Noah Johnson Daily Press A few rain drops didn’t stop local Scouts from participating in Arbor Day on Friday. Scouts partnered with the Escanaba Department of Public Works to plant three trees near the band shell parking lot off of Loren W. Jenkins Memorial Drive in Ludington Park. This year, two linden trees and one red blazes maple. The department says it has 30 more trees to plant over the coming weeks.
