ESCANABA — The Community Foundation for Delta County is organizing the distribution of Easter food baskets for veterans who reside in Delta County.

Collection will be drive-through only at the Ruth Butler Building on the fairgrounds on Tuesday, April 15 — five days before Easter Sunday itself.

Veterans must bring proper identification.

Distribution begins at 2 p.m. and will go until about 3:30 p.m. or until the baskets run out.

Among other goods, the baskets will contain Sayklly’s Easter eggs.

The Community Foundation is grateful for the number of volunteers from various organizations who are providing storage beforehand and packing and passing out the baskets.

The Foundation has distributed baskets for many years.
