ESCANABA — Escanaba city officials said 5th Avenue South between 26th and 32nd streets will be closed for pulverizing and paving work through Tuesday, October 22. Access to side streets will remain available, but 5th Avenue South itself will be fully closed until the project is complete.

Drivers are advised to use caution in the area, seek alternative routes, and plan for possible delays. Parking along this section of 5th Avenue South will also be restricted.
