ESCANABA — The Delta County Veterans Council will be holding a short POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony today, Friday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. at the Delta County Veterans Memorial in Escanaba’s Ludington Park.

The third Friday of September is set aside nationally every year to honor MIA/POWs. The public is invited to attend this ceremony to honor and remember the military men and women who didn’t make it home.
