During an educational session at the Escanaba Municipal Marina this weeky, Frank Pearson of the Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sportsfishermen explains the workings of a fishing reel to eight-year-old Pearl Pearson of Iron Mountain, who also happens to be his granddaughter. The event evening also included a tour of a Department of Natural Resources boat, discussion on fishing regulations and boater safety, instruction on how to tie lines and clean fish, goodies and pizza.
