ESCANABA — A new flag pole will soon be coming to O.B. Fuller Park in memory of Pat Nault, a campground host who served at the park for 12 years.

Nault died on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at his home in Hudson, Fla. His family requested and will be providing the funds for the flag pole and a plaque in Nault’s honor. The county will be responsible only for ensuring that the flag flying on the pole is in suitable condition.

The pole’s installation was approved unanimously by the Delta County Board of Commissioners during their meeting Tuesday.
