The event is in its fourth year, but its first in Gladstone as the previous three took place in Rapid River. Thursday was the first of three cruise nights presented by the Legion Riders Post 71. All proceeds earned from the event will go to benefit Honor Flight, Bay Cliff as well as Bleed Kits for Gladstone Public Safety. Food and refreshments are available with prizes and surprises to be announced. If you missed the event yesterday, don’t fret, there are two more scheduled for the summer on July 18 and Aug. 22 from 4 to 8 p.m. on both days. The event is rain or shine. The cruise nights take place at 802 Delta Avenue in Gladstone. Note, the road will be closed between Delta Avenue to Superior Avenue on 8th Street.
