ESCANABA — A fundraising event to benefit brain tumor research that has been held in Escanaba for two decades is holding its 20th and final Esky Walk in the Park on Saturday, July 13.

While all are welcome and encouraged to show up and participate in the party at Ludington Park that evening — live music, food trucks, games and prizes will be on-site on the 13th — the opportunity to sign up and purchase t-shirts is only available until this Thursday, June 27. That may done at runsignup.com; when registering online prior to Thursday. Donors will also be able to select a shirt to pick up at the event. Proceeds benefit Superior Health Foundation, with funds earmarked exclusively for the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center at UP Health System – Marquette.
