Robert F. and Anne M. Schmit annual gifts awarded

ESCANABA — Community Foundation for Delta County Board Chair Charlie Becker and Executive Director Cheryl Andzejewski jointly announced the distribution of funds the foundation holds from the Robert F. & Anne M. Schmit Endowment Fund.

Local entities receiving Robert F. & Anne M. Schmit funds from the community foundation are:

– Holy Name Catholic School Scholarship Foundation Fund, Escanaba, Michigan

– St. Joseph/St. Patrick Church, Escanaba, Michigan

– Knights of Columbus #640, Escanaba, Michigan

– The Society of the Propagation of the Faith, Marquette, Michigan

– Bay de Noc Community College, Escanaba

– William Bonifas Fine Arts Center, Escanaba, Michigan

– Delta County Cancer Alliance, Inc., Escanaba, Michigan

– Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Escanaba, Michigan

– Delta County Historical Society, Escanaba, Michigan

– U.P. Friends of Honduras, Escanaba, Michigan

– University of Norte Dame, Norte Dame, Indiana

– Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, Maryknoll, New York

– St. Joseph Church, Lakeland, Florida

Andzejewski commented, “The Community Foundation for Delta County feels privileged to hold the Robert F. & Anne M. Schmit Endowment Fund and their entrusting us to follow their philanthropic wishes”.
