Emergency responders get one individual, the sole occupant of a vehicle that had rolled over, onto a stretcher. The vehicle had been heading north on M-35, bound for Escanaba, when the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. It landed on all four tires in the ditch off the western shoulder near the city limit between Ford River and Escanaba, just before the turn for 12th Road. No other vehicles were involved. Multiple departments responded, but the Delta County Sheriff’s Department was first on the scene and said the driver was being taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital as a precautionary measure.
